Our Program may be a viable alternative to surgery for Chronic Planter Fasciitis
Plantar Fasciitis is one of the most common causes of foot pain. It is caused by a breakdown of the fascia which is
one of the supporting tissues of the arch of the foot. With breakdown of the fascia tissue pain begins to occur at the bottom of the foot. This pain is worsened with walking and other activities that put pressure on the feet.

In a study presented by Raymond R. Monto, M.D., from the Nantucket Cottage Hospital in Massachusetts at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, it was found that for patients with severe chronic plantar fasciitis not manageable with traditional non-operative treatments, injections with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) was significantly more effective than using cortisone. With the use of our biological approach, we have also seen considerable success in treating this condition.
